Defy Disaster program
Intended to raise funds to address immediate and long-term needs for communities impacted by disasters
The program supports firefighters, first responders, and other impacted communities
Providing grants to organizations doing boots on the ground work (e.g., LAFD Foundation)
Started by CAA Foundation, CORE, and LAUSD Education Foundation
Launched to provide in-shelter case workers and direct assistance to fire victims and provide resources and direct assistance to school employees, students, and families who have been impacted by the fires

Music Forward Foundation
Manages a disaster fund called Crew Nation who is supporting individuals currently employed within the industry facing displacement expenses due to mandatory evacuation orders, damage, or loss. Crew Nation will provide grants of up to $5,000 to individuals who are currently employed as live music professionals OR as live performance musicians
