In response to the devastating fires affecting Los Angeles, Entertainment Equity Alliance has compiled a list of websites and organizations that provide essential resources to support those in need. Below is a list of websites and contacts to guide you to the support you may be looking for.

Community Resources

EIF Resources

  • Defy Disaster program

    • Intended to raise funds to address immediate and long-term needs for communities impacted by disasters

    • The program supports firefighters, first responders, and other impacted communities 

    • Providing grants to organizations doing boots on the ground work (e.g., LAFD Foundation)

  • SoCal Fire Fund

    • Started by CAA Foundation, CORE, and LAUSD Education Foundation 

    • Launched to provide in-shelter case workers and direct assistance to fire victims and provide resources and direct assistance to school employees, students, and families who have been impacted by the fires

IATSE Local 80

  • Local 80 has opened their stage at 2520 West Olive Ave., Burbank, CA 91505 as a relief shelter. If you are affected by local fires, call 818-526-1700 for information.

CA Film Commission 

Music Forward Foundation

  • Manages a disaster fund called Crew Nation who is supporting individuals currently employed within the industry facing displacement expenses due to mandatory evacuation orders, damage, or loss. Crew Nation will provide grants of up to $5,000 to individuals who are currently employed as live music professionals OR as live performance musicians
