IATSE Local 695

IATSE Local 695 is the Production Sound, Production Video, and Projection union with jurisdiction in Los Angeles, CA. By early 2020, we launched the Y-16A Training Program, which utilizes the Y-16A Production Sound/Video Trainee classification recognized in our collective bargaining agreement since 1996. This Program grants participants the opportunity to receive a union wage, accrue health and pension benefits, and receive mentorship through the duration of their time working under Local 695’s contract, as well as union set job placements. We are not about checking boxes, but rather to support the next generation of Local 695 members through intentional training and access to the community.
