CREATIVE CAREER PATHWAY ORGANIZATIONS
Apprenticeship Programs
AME Apprenticeship Programs are industry-designed workforce training programs that provide individualized instruction, paid on-the-job training and supportive services to trainees. These programs have been approved and registered with the Department of Labor and/or the California Department of Industrial Relations. Registered apprenticeship programs provide free recruitment services to employers and can be tailored to meet company needs.
We are continually updating this resource with new programs and training opportunities for people interested in the arts, media, and entertainment industries. If you would like to add your registered apprenticeship program, please fill out the form here.

Related Supplemental Instruction (RSI)
Related Supplemental Instruction (RSI) is a form of instruction designed to provide apprentices with knowledge including the theoretical and technical subjects related and supplemental to the skill(s) involved.
As part of an AME-HRTP Apprenticeship Program, apprentices are required to complete 144 hours (minimum) of RSI/academic training. Registered Apprenticeship Program Sponsors will work with the apprentice to establish a unique lesson plan for them that aligns with their performance and career interests.
The RSI curriculums were developed by industry professionals for industry and are intended as classroom guidance for education partners.

High Road℠ Training Partnership
The Arts, Media, & Entertainment High Road Training Partnership (AME-HRTP) is the first large-scale, multi-year initiative to bridge training and education programs with employment and drive economic mobility for underrepresented AME workers in California’s creative economy. Over the next 3 years, the AME-HRTP will unite workforce intermediaries, Registered Apprenticeship Program Sponsors, county & state government partners, research & policy partners, community-based organizations, and labor partners to shape a more inclusive and diverse AME industry.
